“It is my honor to recommend Marisol Garcia for Local 4098 Member of the Month. She is an incredible Paraeducator who demonstrates an incredible amount of professionalism. Marisol has worked with life skills students for over 20 years and several different students. Her ability to translate from English to Spanish has helped her students, their parents, and teachers. We are so lucky to have this positive role model work with our students. Marisol is hard working, punctual, has good attendance, and respectful towards students and staff. She has been an incredible asset to Central High School.” writes Maria Baez, Special Education Teacher, Central High School.
“I would like to nominate Marisol Garcia as the Local 4098 Member of the Month. Ms. Garcia has been serving Central for 10+ years. Her commitment toward the students is outstanding and tangible. She is a hard and good team worker. I am so happy that Marisol Garcia is receiving this recognition!! Marisol has worked for the Central family for more than 30 years. For the past 2 years, I've had the opportunity to work with her in the Life skills room. She has demonstrated commitment towards students by working fairly with them despite the circumstances. Ms. Garcia has been supportive to her teachers and has provided extra help whenever needed in order for the classroom/students to flow smoothly with less stress when the teacher is out. She's a real team worker. Kudos for Ms. Garcia!” writes Ms. Ana Nater M.Ed., Spanish teacher levels 1-3, Central High School
“I am the Life Skills teacher in the room that Ms. Marisol Garcia works in. I was told to pass along some positive words about her in recognition of this award. There is honestly no one in this school more deserving of it. She is the hardest working educator I have ever met. Every single day she comes in, wipes down our tables, sets up the kids' breakfast and makes sure the room is a clean, welcoming environment for them. She never has a lazy day and with each group we work with she gives 110% with each kid, each day. She doesn't even take her full 15-minute break! She never complains and she always has a positive attitude. She truly is the best team player. She is both flexible and supportive. I feel truly blessed to have her with me and as I tell her often, I could not do this job without her. I am so glad her hard work and years of faithful service are being recognized and celebrated!” Stephanie Simon, Special Education Department, Springfield Central High School.
Congratulations Marisol and thank you for Making A Difference
